Ousia, a concept rooted in ancient Greek, means essence — that which remains when everything else fades away.
This concert by the young and prodigious musician David Hodos is a deep immersion into that essence: the essence of childhood, memory, and music as an inner language.
At just 16 years old, David Hodos presents, as part of his Spring 2026 concerts in Quebec and Europe, the launch of his debut album Ousia. The album features seven original piano compositions that trace his musical journey since the age of 11. Each piece is a fragment of lived experience, an emotion captured in time. Ousia is an invitation to listen differently — to feel, to remember, and to reconnect with the very essence of musical emotion.
